Etablir une liste exhaustive des trombonistes utilisant nos cylindres serait fastidieux et sans grand intérêt. Tenir cette liste à jour est de l’ordre de l’impossible : tous les jours, quelque part au monde, un ou plusieurs nouveaux musiciens est conquis ! |
Ces quatre musiciens ont fait connaissance en 1990, pendant leurs études au Conservatoire de Genève. Ils ont rapidement décidés de jouer ensemble en fondant ce quatuor. Rapidement leur renom se confirme grâce à quelques tournées en France et en Italie, également par leur collaboration avec l’ “Ensemble vocal de Lausanne”, dirigé par Michel Corboz. Originaire de Sienne (Italie), Andrea Bandini tient actuellement le poste de trombone solo à l’ “Orchestre de la Suisse Romande”. Jean-Marc Daviet est originaire d’Annecy (France), tandis que Frédéric Théodoloz vient du Valais (Suisse). Laurent Demarchi est né à Genève. Andrea, Jean-Marc et Frédéric ont étudié au Conservatoire de Genève. Laurent a gagné son prix à Paris. Le répertoire du quatuor couvre les périodes allant de la renaissance au 20ème siècle, incluant de la musique classique ainsi que des transcriptions inspirées du jazz. |
